Farewell Flowers
Farewell flowers are the very last gift to your loved one and I believe they should be personal, meaningful, delicate, and as unique as the person they are for.
I also believe that they do not have to be ‘Funeral’
For a very long time Farewell flowers have been Chrysanthemum, Lilly or Roses poked into blocks of plastic floral foam edged with synthetic ribbon. This doesn’t have to be the case! There needs to be positive changes!
From April to October the flowers and foliage I use will be grown by myself. My flowers are very natural but also unique and change with the seasons. I will use other local and British growers when I need extra and will also use imported flowers throughout the year to meet your needs. If your family member was a keen gardener or allotmenteer I would also be more than happy to include some of their own homegrown goods into the arrangement.
My arrangements are plastic free, meaning everything is biodegradable and compostable. When we die we leave behind nothing but memories and we can say the same about our funeral flowers if we choose a modern option.

The plastic waste from UK crematoriums alone is frightening. Each year the waste adds up to nearly 15,000 cubic meters of floral foam, plastic letters, shapes and ribbon. That’s enough waste to fill 6 Olympic sized swimming pools. This doesn’t disappear, it makes its away into water courses and stays in landfill for a very very long time.
It sticks around a lot longer than we will be!
